Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Needle size is dependent on the garment size you wish to knit. These sizes require specific : size 32 - needles 5 (3.75 mm) and 10.5 (6.5 mm); size 36 - needles 6 (4 mm) and 11 (8 mm); size 40 - needles 7 (4.5 mm), and 13 (9 mm).
